Hashirama & his Mokuton

Actually i've been wondering about mokuton's origin.hashirama seems to be the 1st to use it and he is well & feared by everyone because of it.but is it really his kekkei genkai?i think no,because he is the only senju to have it.i probably think he also got it from some experiments like yamato or learned it by reading forbidden jutsu.so what do u guys think?

Well if anything, Tobirama was adopted Since Hashirama's DNA has been used for several things throughout the series that require Senju DNA.
And most Are only present in a few members of the clan or one. Mei, the Magnet release users.

No I think others had it but he was just the strongest madara and izuna were the only uchiha s mentioned in that era tobirama had water mastery so maybe they had nature. Control

no i don't think it's due to mix of elements.most shinobis have 2 nature elements and some of them probably have earth & water so why can't they use it as well?i think mokuton has something to do with his genes.

EXACTLY. It has been established in the manga as canon that a KKG can only be inherited genetically, and by no other means (unless you experiment with DNA).

SO, because of that, and the fact that Mokuton is an advanced elemental affinity (which only manifests as KKG) Hashirama's wood release technique is definitely his KKG.

What is unclear, however, is whether or not Mokuton is actually a KKG of the Senju clan per se, considering how, as you have pointed out, NONE other Senju descendents seem to have inherited it.
