Sometimes when I'm posting words like "boastful" that emoticon shows up. My suggestion is that the Admins change what you need to type in order for it to come up, so maybe :stfu: or something like that. It's kinda a pointless idea but I guess it would be useful.​

Agreed. There should at least need to be a space on either side of the emoticon for it to show. There is a button under the advanced options that prevents smilies from showing at all.

It's also especially annoying when creating a bio with a word that contains the letters"stfu". ~_~'

To bypass the smileys, while you're making a post, there's a box to disable smileys. It's under Miscellaneous Options.

Though I know sometimes I forget about some of the options down there. xd

It has been suggested before, it's quite trivial, there few words like that, as far as I am concerned, I am quite restful about the suggestion; though you seem to be zestful for it

Yeah, I made a thread about this some time ago. Mods didn't respond even though a lot of people liked it. True, smilies could be disabled...but what if you want smilies or someone is not aware that this will happen...it can cause a message to have a whole different meaning if you aren't careful.
