Are you honestly going to assume every girl who has an abortion is a teenager? If so then yes, you are ignorant. Abortions are not confined to a small group of slutty teenage girls. A large portion of abortions are done in the case where the women would suffer serious injury or death from carrying or birthing the baby. Why don't you look at the broader picture instead of only using examples that fit your argument. You talk like getting an abortion is some thing you can just walk into a hospital and get. It isn't.

My stance on it, is that if you are having *** you need to be able to deal with the consequences. I've heard that the heart starts beating at 18 days, that makes me believe that it is in fact living.

I agree with you, it was their choice to have ***. *** is also fun though, but should be controlled and stay inside a firm relationship and not be willy nilly. Also, one does not need to ejaculate inside...the men should control themselves too if they're going to do something stupid anyway. Trust me, it's entirely possible to choose the moment in which it happens. However, that takes practice, which I'm guessing people don't do anymore. U_U

Don't bother. Pro-life people were anti-gay marriage people a year ago, anti interacial marriage 20 years ago, anti civil rights 50 years ago, and anti womens rights 100 years ago. Even once america evolves past this 2,000 year old taboo they'll find some other right that they'd like to opress. The vast majority of them are idiots, just look at that guy who said heart beats don't start for 18 days. You won't win against them. They're entrenched in there beliefs that whatever they personally believe in is right, and everyone has to fall in line or GTFO.

You're is you are. When you read "you're" you're supposed to think you-are. It's the exact same word. My wording may have been confusing but the point was clear nonetheless.

The heart forming/beating happens 2-3 weeks after conception. So in no way is that 8-9 months. Fertilization happens during the 3rd week and the heart forms during the 5th week. Therefore it is plausible that the babies heart may very well start beating 18 days after being fertilized.

I did not say that I believed all abortions are by teenagers. What I said was that teenagers shouldnt be able to get away with it.

...and why would a woman die from having a child? Not only would that be an extremely rare case...but I'd also guess that it would be caused by something else she did. Again, lack of self control...which is my point.

If it's not because of something she did previously, and she was going to lose her life over it, then maybe in this extremely rare case, abortion should be considered. In my opinion, if the child will survive it, then the woman, as an older person, has no right to take the life of their child to save their own. No real mother would ever do that.

I'm pro life and pro choice to an extent, choice in that we should be allowed to follow what we want and live the way we want, but life that every potential soul should have the chance to experience life the way their parents got one.
