Suggestion to delete very old and long dead threads

I was thinking about how the site sometimes lags behind, and that you can't access it at all. So I thought maybe the multiple buildup of threads could be the root of this problem. The squeaky wheel gets oiled, right?

No, admins might need to look further back into your old threads
Or you simply want to view them yourself to look back at all times, also your thread amount would go down, and so would your post rate, probably crashing the system even more with rapid Post downrates.

Doing that would be the same as Erasing the forum's history. So its not really an option.

As for the ones complaining about the search button reference, well, if you used it, you wouldn't need to "hear" people telling you to use it. So, its your own fault. Lol
