i don't study that data book like most of you guys so i'll throw this out to those that do. this question is only for if tobi's eye is obito's. (THIS IS NOT AN IDENTITY THREAD! AT THIS POINT I COULDN'T CARE ANY LESS!)

i was under the impression that with ms techs one eye has one tech while the other eye has a different one. why would tobi boast he would show kakashi the real kamui if they're both using obito's eyes? or is this kishi's subtle way of letting us know that it isn't obito's eye?

please keep the flames low vets. i know all the tobi questions are getting old but i am in no way trying to start a argument over who tobi is. just more or less trying to get a better understanding of ms...

Sometimes both eyes can have the same technique. Shisui's eyes were like that too. He had KA in both eyes.

It's pretty much confirmed that Tobi has Obito's eyes. The techniques that Kakashi and Tobi are using aren't necessarily the same, just related. Also, we don't know the effects of splitting one person's eyes amongst two people.

Sometimes both eyes can have the same technique. Shisui's eyes were like that too. He had KA in both eyes.
^Also this.

Maybe one eye is to teleport others (Kakashi's) and the other one is to teleport yourself/phase (Tobi's).

Maybe one eye is to teleport others (Kakashi's) and the other one is to teleport yourself/phase (Tobi's).

Note:Tobi can do both.

It would appear that the 'standard' mangekyou sharingan techniques,as it were,Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi appear in one eye each, whereas unique techniques like Kamui and Kotoamatsukami appear in both eyes.
Both as Shisui's eyes had Kotoamatsukami,as both the eye Danzo had and the one in Itachi's crow possessed it.
