Well, truth be told, women are far more into men than men could ever be into women. In fact, this insatiable desire for *** causes women to actually be against their own sexuality. Not so much among each other, but in public as a whole. It's said that men think about women every 52 seconds...but what no one says is that women actually never stop thinking about men. Think about it; women go way out of their way to make themselves look attractive...if asked about it, they'll say they want to look cute for their friends...but that's an outright lie. Women start prepping themselves for mating way before guys do, so at all times they're far more prepared and are always out of our league...but that's on purpose so they can pick the guy they want.

Oh, and if you ask a woman about this, they'll deny it. The thing is, men are viewed as stupid since women can control themselves. They've been controlling themselves from a very early age...like I said, way before men. So when we act out of control by doing these types of things and not controlling our desires, to them, we're inferior...and that's offensive. I can explain the psychological aspects all day long. What I've decided to do is simply step up to their level and resist the temptation to behave the way my gender usually does...using this strategy, one can then prey on women instead of them seeing you as prey. xd

Let's see here... This won't be an unexpected answer I guess(though a bit for this thread it seems): good manga and anime series, the non-manga books such as HP or the series(can't remember the name of the whole series, but the first book is Eragon) with dragons and stuff. There's also this series "tales of the Otori" which is one of my all time favourite series!
Music, Japanese mostly, such as DOES and Ancafe etc.

You almost said it right, except for you said women focus more on *** (correct me if I'm wrong). Some women (note the some) think of men only for reproductive purposes. Hence, the hostility against their own. These women that think of reproductive purposes think that they have to get the male that will produce the best offspring, has the finances to support her and offspring; it's seen in other species as well.

I kind of agree that women do think about men a lot more than they like to admit, but I'd say it's for both sexes. They may think about each other for different purposes (men: ***; women: "the one"). Though again it must be said that not all women and men think that way. I think that's where people start getting mad and you start getting feminists and other men to argue and fight people that claim that. You can't say, "All women do this," "All men do this." Because it's not true that all of them do.

You have to look at the way each gender is raised. It is "un-lady like to behave in that type of way and to display that type of emotion (sexual needs)", while for men it is told that "you are a man if you behave like this (being promiscuous)."

I've studied and learned that they say a man's greatest fear is to fail. Some women know this and they use it, which is why you said that when women think men are inferior that it is offensive. A man (and not all men) likes to strive for the best, which is why some women again are hostile towards each other. They want that mate that strives for the best, that will protect his home, and be there for them.

They report that women's greatest fear is to be alone. No need to explain even more to why some can be hostile towards another when trying to find a mate.

As always there are exceptions to everything. Some men are just as afraid of ending up alone, while some women always want to strive for the best and not fail.

Some men are not promiscuous while some women can be promiscuous. Some men want to have a married life, some women don't even want to be married or have kids.

I understand. I don't necessarily believe in holding back some emotions. Sometimes you have to express them.Though in some cultures expressing oneself is within itself a weakness.

Take for example quiet people. People who are quiet aren't necessarily shy; they can merely be observing people. As the observer, one can see what makes that person who freely expresses themselves tick, what makes them happy, etc. Then one can move them about like a chess piece on a board. Of course, a wise person would be able to counter.

I think even if you consider yourself cautious you can easily fall for some tricks. Well, if the other person is really good at manipulation.

That's fine. It's your choice not to look for marriage. Though, I must say that I honestly do not believe that something as intercourse can be snubbed as "casual." Humans are (whether they are aware of it or not) built for a deeper connection than just the carnality of "casual intercourse."

If they believe they are; they either
1. Been hurt by someone
2. Seen someone they love or care about be hurt by someone
3. Watching television/reading articles, books, etc. can be discouraging and may cause a person to believe what they believe (e.g. people fantasizing what an ideal partner should be like due to a character and when a person does not meet that criteria they become discouraged of ever finding love).
4. Raised to believe that way because the one teaching has experienced one or all of the above.
5. A person experienced all of the above or some of it and have concluded that casual intercourse is better than attaching oneself to another human being.

Of course this is from what I've seen and witnessed in my interactions with people.

Hey Narutokyuubi, I hope you feel a bit better now. I`m sure you`ll make friends. Otherwise you have to hang out with weird online people like us forever.

Things I learned:
With boys it`s like with girls. First of all, the higher their numbers, the bigger they act. A single boy usually won`t run around and talk about all the girls he likes, drugs he never took, alcohol he never drank and the pervy stuff (the more pervy talk, the bigger the virgin!). Same with girls. A single girl won`t giggle hysterically and provoke the guy that she likes, to throw up when he is walking by. Means bigger groups=bigger annoyance. Stay away and talk to the more serious looking outsider. Not too big of an outsider, could be a total freak. Hehe.

Games. They talk about games because they feel home there and are good at it. Btw, I talked about games rather than boys, diets, makeup and clothes too. Easy concept, not complicated, easy topic.

Another fact, when you like a boy, find a topic to talk about that is easy. Best is...well, something he is good at. Something interesting.

Another fact, people online talk alot bigger than rl. My personal experience there is the greatest wisdom that I can share since for 5 years now, I`m married to the `boy` I met way back then, 8 years ago on a discussion board (yes, it really was a discussion board like this one). All big talk online about love and marriage, then first real meeting after a long friendship and in rl, we talked about...games....
