Theory about Madara's Rinnegan and Moukuton.

Before Madara died, he had Rinnegan and Moukuton(Most Likely). Some people say that Kabuto gave him these two things but in actuality Kabuto did not.

After Madara's fight with Hashirama, he obtained his DNA. (Personally, I believe he lost the fight on purpose but, I don't know 100%.) But after Madara "lost", he went and implanted Hashirama's cells into his body.

Rinnegan: I think after his last fight, he had a near-death experience, and he already had EMS so it evolved into Rinnegan. Then before he had died, he gave his Rinnegan to Tobi to find an Uzumaki and turn them to their side and gave them his eyes. Nagato was that Uzumaki but I made a thread about that already lol.

Moukuton: I'm not 100% sure he had it before he died but I believe he did because after the VOTE battle, he said he only fought Hashirama for his DNA. Now, this was said by both Tobi and Madara that during that fight he only wanted his DNA. So when he did end the fight, he found a medical-ninja (Unless he was one), and told them to bond Hashirama's cells into his body.

While Madara was fighting the 5-Kage, a little before he summoned his small Susano'o, Kabuto had said something, and Madara told him " Don't mistake, you did not create this power," Meaning that, Madara already had that before he died.

And that is my theory.

I don't recall it ever being stated that he fought Hashirama at the Valley of the End only to obtain Hashi's DNA. Provide a citation, please.

Yeah, I think that's what he was talking about. However, that's Tobi, not Madara. He was lying about being Madara in the same breath as saying he was doing it to attain Hashi's DNA.
