If the bios isn't detecting the cdrom or ide drive the 1st thing to check is the cable. Make sure you have the red stripe on the ide cable on the correct side. If it is and it still doesn't work, replace the cable. IDE ribbon cables are shit, and break a lot.
Tell me what bios you are using.

American Megatrends Bios.
It's not the cable, I tried with another cable as well, and I put it the correct way.

I got 1 IDE HDD and 1 SATA HDD. But as I said, the IDE in the motherboard seems to be broken. Also, I don't need anything from my old HDD, because it's just a gaming pc, so I dont have any personal stuff on it (well except for porn).

I just need to install Windows 7 OS on the new harddrive, on the new computer, using a USB. I'll do that when I get home tonight from work.

o_o I require your specs and your Steam account name please.

Quad Core 2.4 GHz
500GB HDD (They were out of 1TB ones.. it was only 10$ difference, so I was gonna buy 1TB).
Zotac Geforce GT 630 1GB Graphics
8GB RAM

I don't use Steam :p
