Because it leaves him open venerable to other jutsu, Like if i raise him and cause a lid to fall on top of him (Leaves him with a smaller time to defend, and while i do that i can use a jutsu effecting the ground while his distracted by the lid,) It also takes away his ability to use most earth jutsu.
And he would use C-rank or higher wind.
He can counter anything in the air, he can counter on the ground.

Would've been better to use Black Clouds first, and then follow it up with a wind/earth technique, since the opponent wouldnt use fire/lightning.

First i gather my chakra, Once this is done i began to picture in my head how lightning strikes behaves and how it looks, by doing this i change my pure chakra into raiton chakra. I focus my chakra into my right hand as i perform the snake handseal, Once this is done i then manipulate it causing it to vibrate. The vibration forms lightning, Once this is done i release it in the form of a spear from my right hand, The spear splits in half and each of them heads towards each of your clones striking and dispersing them.You would be releasing a technique forwards anyway, so just change up your element to beat his and you'd be okay.

This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.
Perform the Snake hand seal, and then focus your lightning chakra into either of your hands. Then release the lightning, shaping it into a massive spear of lightning, covering a pretty large area. As the spear travels, split it in two to disperse two of my clones who are several meters away from each other.
