Orochimaru was always the Strongest of the Sannin

well, for me there is nothing to debate about because based on information gathered throughout the series it is very clear that jiraiya is the strongest sannin.He is probably the only sannin who attained sage mode and could effectively use it in battle. Orochimaru even admitted that itachi strength surpassed his own with itachi admitting he would not stand a chance against jiraiya.this is a clear testament to the difference in power jiraiya has over orochimaru.the only advantage orochimaru would have is the fact that he is probably the hardest person to kill in the show.it would be a long and drawn out fight but the outcome still puts jiraiya on top. Bear in mind, that i am not taking anything away from orochimaru. he is without a doubt an extremely powerful ninja but when a man like itachi speaks of jiraiya so highly stating that himself and kisame would face deaths door should they ever combat the legendary sannin jiraiya,going even further to say that even if they had reinforcements the results of them dying would remain the same.itachi even took precautions by casting genjutsu on a woman to lure jiraiya away from naruto.truly, jiraiya is deserving of the title "Strongest Sannin."

itachi didnt say he would loose . he said kiseme would but not him. he said if they would fight then it would bring to much attention or something like that. and plus he was a leaf ninja in the end, so he defferently didnt want fight..so that state u talking about dont mean shit , p.s read manga

No wonder why Itachi was waiting for him to one-shot him. He knew he couldn't let Orochimaru realize he needed to survive. Oro's major weakness is being a bad gambler. He just goes all in.

I believe that Jiraiya was the strongest of the Sannin

sakura doesnt equal tsunade. sakura is not a senju nor does she have byakogo

Orochimaru was called a genius of his time by his teacher Hiruzen, but Tsunade and Jiraiya both climbed to Kage level and could easily pose a threat to Orochimaru. All three of Hiruzen's students are bad ass Shinobi and should not be messed with. The only way to find out who's the strongest Sannin is to have a three way match between them:
Tsunade in Byakugou mode
Jiraiya in Sage mode
Orochimaru in ??? (is it confirmed that he has Sage mode as well?) but he has the ability to completely take over a new body with his Reanimation Jutsu so that's equally powerful.

oro is the strongest there is no way tsunage can beat oro he will just shed his skin when ever she hits him oro can beat jairaya since he already did, how ever tsunade might be able to beat jairaya since she almost killed him in one hit and jairaya cant heal him self so if he gets sereoisely injured it can be fatal even if he wins, so oro is the best candidate, and oro with out his arms beat a full powerd tsunade and a druged jairaya

Seriously orochimaru couldn't use his arms at all even with 4tailed naruto he couldn't do jutsu only punch ppl and he punched the shit out of him IMO

Orochimaru had already been beaten down way too much by a weakened Tsunade. He needed a new body, the cheater! And Tsunade messed up by drugging Jiraiya. They might have been able to finish off what their teacher left off. :sy:

It was stated jariya tried to bring oro back to village oro defeated him then (that's what was stated) jariya failed on tht note

Secondly jariya can't beat oro at all his sage mode oro knows about from being partners with him for like 20-30 years so oro won't let him get into it the only reason jariya was able to get into it with pain is 2 reasons one kishi wanted to show what jariya was made out of and 2 pain/nagato had no idea what jariya was doing oro would know
As for battling oro is stronger (physically) and faster then jman not to mention DURIBLE I mean he got ripped in half and just reattached his torso I mean damn
Also like the other guy said oro true form would own jariya cuz jariya Dnt know shit about it plus jariya is most likely imeditly gonna attack the snakes once he does tht poisenious gas will make him paralyzed an then oro can eat him or w.e he want to do with him IMO

Even itachi couldn't deal with it in the end he had to seal it....and we seen how well that turned out oro just got revived like nothing happened....
