can kakashi surpass minato?

well throughout the series we have seen students surpass their sensei's(jman-naruto oro-sasuke jman-nagato kakashi-naruto kakashi-sasuke) so i just wanted to know if kakashi can surpass minato or if he hasnt and if not does he have the potential of doing so.
in my opinion i believe he hasnt but he can eventually because they are both similar minato invented a jutsu(rasengan) and kakashi invented his(chidori) both are kul and calm generally and in battle,both are very smart and are gud analysts,both are geniuses,both can use space time ninjutsu. but minato is just a badass and true boss his ftg combined with his brains makes him obviously still above kakashis level but kakashi(given their similarities) has the potential to maybe surpass his sensei sometime later.anyway thats my opinion so wat yall tink can kakashi surpass his sensei? and pls no flaming cos am no kakashi fan(sasuke) just a question am asking and wanting to hear ppls thoughts tanks.

Intelligence wise, Kakashi's not far off.
Technique use and understanding I think their pretty much the same since Kakashi's shown this ability time and time again throughout the series. They both have great analyzing skills, sensor abilities(to some extent), impressive battle sense, and powerful ninjutsus. To me for Kakashi to surpass Minato he'd need a few more wide scale powerful ninjutsu and some more kenjutsu skills. Kakashi with Kubikiribōchō ****ing A! But if you just mean speed wise surpass Minato then Kakashi would just have to increase his body flicker tech. It wouldn't equal FTG but it'd maybe be enough to keep Minato on his feet.
