Naruto's childhood or Gaara's??

Ok so which one would you guys/gals pick if you had to. Gaara's or Naruto's?

Personally i'll have to go with Gaara on this. why?? because he was the same as sasuke. The reason it seems more dramatic is because Gaara was a soft kid compared to Naruto. Naruto was a tough guy. BUT he obviously cried more then Gaara.



Gaara is basically half of Naruto's childhood and half of Sasuke's. First Gaara got love you know he had people with him. Even when he was growing up he had Kankuro and temari. Naruto = 0 person in his life as a child. Third hokage doesn't count because he really was just looking after him from behind the scenes.



GAARA also chose to neglect the people around him... NARUTO was SHUNNED from everyone. Alone at the end of the day.. Gaara was the son Kazekage.. had bros and sisters.


People tend to make Gaara's more sadder because how its shown.. But in reality the harsh life goes to Naruto. Gaara had people looking after him and that incident with his mom's brother was just another version of Itachi's with sasuke.



Gaara and Sasuke Chose not to be friends with others. Naruto just couldn't make friends.

And that whole thing when gaara comes back alive and the whole vision he has.. Its because Naruto tried to make friends... And Gaara had friends at the moment idk why they didn't show em.


But I would pick Gaara's childhood over Naruto's why?? because if i have Gaara's atleast I have more choices.

on a set of scales...naruto was alone and shunned from the beginning. sasuke had family and lost 99% of them. garra was spoiled and then hunted to be killed and he was 12 when his story got release..meaning when he was at 8-9-10-11-12 he was getting hunted like a dog...they all had it hard

And yes Gaara was a soft kid... when all his "sadness" happened.. which was when he was soft (which is not a bad thing)... If Naruto chose to be soft and not headstrong or goofy like he was.. No story in Naruto about sadness will compare to his.

well we can assume that Kishimoto was "talking" through Gaara to give more detail about his past. If Gaara was indeed lying or confused we can assume Kishi would have justified this later.
