I belived that it was awakened when Itachi put him in the hospital with Tsukoyomi, but he did not use it until Dedara fight. I need some real truth and facts if anyone have them. I dont think this topic is a flame war starter, but you never know? Still, any good hypothisis' are welcome.

Those are not legit facts and you should not believe everything on that site. I bet kishi trolls everyone through websites like that. You never know until you know. Well, we all know he is one of Kishi's favourite characters, still it was unrealistic how he did it. Cannot copy it. Cannot awakened it since he didn't kill anyone.
Infact uchiha's members are the ones that can, but anyone aside them didnt( maybe because they don't know about MS- yeah), and that's strange, seems Kakashi is the 1st one, but not awakened it like Itachi, Sasuke, Madara, Shisui, etc...
We have story how uchiha member can, but don't have about non-uchicha nor if it's the same way or Kakashi surpassed everyone somehow, and here's the problem- what exactly is so special about him that he did it and the only salution right now is- favourite character, no explanation....

NICE ONE. What about the way Itachi man handeled him with Tsukoyomi? It had an effect on him that changed Kakashi. It gave him something to work towards. I think that he did copy it into his own sharingan. It is logical and it is kakashi's best move, along with analysis of anyone. He knew that the sharingan analysis of Itachi meant that his sharingan could achieve a new level.

Yup. Hopefully more will be revealed about it soon, its been a mystery since he used it early on in part 2 against deidara.
