world tournament in naruto ? give you opinions

I been thinking of this for a while but wouldn't it be cool for their to be a world tournament after the war? I think it would make sense being that this new shinobi alliance is the first of it's kind. I think kishi could pull it off as a symbol of peace between former enemies. And I'm not talking about Gemini fighting it out to move up in rank. This tournament could be all chunnin and jonin. It would be a chance for the konoha 11 to shine as well a chance to see new shinobi from other villages. I think this be a great cooldown arc before sasuke attacks konoha. Thoughts?

Edit: I know dbz. Did it too but still it wasn't an original idea to begin with. I like dbz but I believe naruto is a much deeper universe with a bigger variance of fighting and a much wider array of techniques therefore I believe the tournament would be better by alot. IMO

But only with the ppl alive so it wouldn't be so fake to bring back ppl like itachi minato etc

2 main events one 5 kage battle

And the other the final four of the turnament randomly is seletected into pairs and fight the other witch ever team wins face each other the next day

well then i wouldn't help my partner as much if i knew i would have to fight him

It would be a good OVA or mini-series to get Kishi some more money but it don't really see the point of it.

Edit: I don't really think countries would want their prized shinobi seriously getting hurt or even dying.
