Look at what Ohnoki said: "Whoever it was, they're a hero that protected the shinobi world!"

The hero was Itachi, but he's gone. Does that mean that Sasuke will get credit for stopping Edo-Tensei? Perhaps there is a small chance that he will return the the Leaf village once again. The one who ultimately stopped it was Itachi, but Sasuke also played a part in it so it wouldn't be THAT unfair for him to take credit. After all, Itachi's plan was to make himself look like a bad guy and Sasuke like a hero, maybe that plan will succeed after all.

This is just a possibility, but Naruto promised Sakura to bring him back, and I don't see Naruto breaking that promise at the end of the series.

So he stopped everyone but Madara, perhaps he will aid Naruto in his fight with Madara. I don't think they will blaim Sasuke for Madara's persistence.

Thats not really true, by stopping Edo alot of other powerful ninja were sent away saving countless allied lives and strengthening their position.

He only stopped it because he wanted to get rid of Kabuto. He had no intention of saving the leaf.

He won't be THE hero, he'll be A hero. Let's face it, he's become a main character by now. And I'm definitely not a Sasuke fanboy, I just noticed this while reading the manga.

Itachi doesn't want to get the credit, once word gets otu that Itachi actually was one to help the leaf and the fact the Uchiha wanted to make a coup on the leaf, as well as the fact that the leaf may have been involved with helping tobi (nobody knows how the ****/who the **** helped him as he had probably had connections within konoha) Naruto may end up siding with Sasuke after all the shit Konoha Ninja's made his family go through, and himself as a child...Naruto may feel it was Konoha's fault for all of this, Itachi's decision, Sasuke's peril and his own suffering was all because of Konoha...

We have no idea what Kishi plans for the event of Naruto vs Sasuke and the outcome of it, anything might happen...
