Itachi's hype is a lie

Throughout the entire series Itachi's hype was "he slaughtered his entire clan single handedly" but he didn't actually do it single handedly. Tobi most likely killed most of them. Not trying to take anything away from Itachi, just his hype is a lie

EDIT: Everyone getting butt hurt about this, Itachi is one of my favorite and I'm not saying he's weak. In fact, in part 2 he showed us he was much stronger than we all even though. All I'm saying is that initial hype he had was a lie, but he doesn't need it because his feats>

I'm not hating on Itachi guys! He probably could have slaughtered the clan still, but he didn't! Tobi helped him, that's a fact, and tobi probably did most of the work... How do I figure? If you had to kill your loved ones, but could have someone else do it, wouldn't you rather have them do it?

Yep. Itachi is comletely overrated on these threads. Some people think he can take on Minato or the SO6P.

Here's the thing, I get it, ok? Itachi has done so much in this business. You can't deny the hype people are giving him. Yeah, he had help killing the Uchiha, but granted it was his mission assigned to him, by Danzo, so that in turn, the mission was his respnsibility.

Itachi was a man of honor, he didn't want war. I get it, ok? But you have to realize what he did, was for the better of the village. He's definately a future Naruto hall of famer for sure.

What are you trying to say? I love Itachi after everything he did, I'm just saying everyone was afraid of him because he slaughtered his clan, but he didn't. It's his main hype, but it's a lie and that's a fact
