[Question]How to Quote from a Closed Thread (including BBcode)

I already know that to quote from a quote thread, I can use this method:

[Quote= insert username followed by ; then the number of the post, which you can find in the link to the direct link to the post in question] 
-copy quoted text and insert here- 
[/quote]

But I also want to get the BBcodes, B,I,U etc etc.
Is there any way to do so? (Apart from opening the thread and quoting directly)​
