The Kyuubi gets dies and then gets reborn sort of, Kishi didn't go into specific details but he did make it clear that tailed beasts die with their host and are reborn later.

Bijuus never die, they get reborn if their jinchuyrikis die..

No beast will die :| then get revived later on.

Don't make yourself look stupid until you are 100% sure you're right

well, many things can happen. for example, in the first part (which you haven't watched yet), when naruto is learning the rasengan and is looking for tsunade, he almost dies in the fight with kabuto & orochimaru. when "the lights go off" for naruto, the lights went off for the kyuubi too. So, i think that if the jinchuuriki still has the tailed beast sealed in them and the jinchuuriki is about to die, so does the beast. That's why when the akatsuki go look for the jinchuuriki, they cannot kill them, only knock them out, because if they are dead, you can't "steal" the beast.

i think chiyo says something about what happens to the host and beast when they are on their way to rescue gaara.
and in the whole jiraiya,tsunade and naruto vs orochimaru fight when naruto is dying from the wound from kabuto, kurama talks about how everything was going dark
