The Massacre of the Uchicha Question

It was said by either Itachi or Danzo that children of the Uchiha that didn't know of the plan were to be sparred. The fact that it were CHILDREN proves that Sasuke shouldn't of been the only one that had survived the night. Is it that Itachi somehow forgot the other children or did he not info the mask man on the plan about that? :shrug:

the only thing that was ever said was that itachi said that the village must spare sasuke or he would spill all the villages secrets to the other villages and then he came back after the third hokage dies to remind them that he is still alive so they better not touch sasuke.

By that Danzo meant get rid of everyone including the unknowing children.

Itachi wanted his brother to be spared because he loved him. I guess he didn't feel the same for the other Uchiha children.

Like others said Danzo wanted to include the children in the massacre. He specifically made a deal with Itachi that Sasuke would be spared if Itachi were to go through with the plan and kill off the clan members.

However.. Itachi did not go perfectly with Danzo's plan.

He killed all children. All familes. Even his own lover. He wanted to prevent any future revolts from vengence. But he couldn't bring himself to kill his brother. He loved him more than the entire village.
