The Uchiha War Fan/Kite​

Any one thinked about why Tobi is using the War Fan and not Madara Uchiha?

Since to Madara Uchiha , the War Fan is like a relic of somesort.


I bet if Madara had the War Fan battling the five kages the odds would be different against the five kages , since it seems to be a OP weapons and it can slice through almost anything.


Has Tobi proven himself to be worthy to use the War Fan in combat?

I think , that the War Fan is passed down through generations from father to son and to grand son or to a respectable member of the Uchiha Clan.


Also there is a possibility , that there where more than one War Fans , one belonged to Madara and the other belonged to another Uchiha or Tobis Fan was produced later after Madaras death.


Or Tobis war fan is the Original Madara Uchihas war fan.


Also Tobi has shown remarkable skill at using the war fan , like he has used it for years.



So the question is :

Doesnt it feel strange , that Tobi is using the war fan and not Madara?

Also Uchiha War Fan holds a symbolic meaning = could it be , that Tobi has somesort of Uchiha Pride similar to Uchiha Madara?

Its just a war fan. If Madara didn't want to lose it, he shouldn't have died.

Might be his he used it to amplify his wind techs but i doubt if tobi uses it for actual combat

Hmm, to me it looks like standard war fan.

It takes talent to use the War Fan with skill.

Not any Uchiha Can use it.


You have to train for years to use it in combat , it's not an ordinary weapon like a Kunai or Shuriken , that most of the Uchihas use.


So far it has been proven to be good for defense and offense , Also I think , that it can produce wind element for some reason.



Only the Leader of the Uchiha Clan can use this weapon as shown with Uchiha Madara , we have not seen any fodder Uchiha use the same weapon.



Fugaku Uchiha was the Leader of Uchiha Clan , but did not use the War Fan.

It could be , that the War Fan is only used in major battles.

But as the leader of Uchiha Clan , I think , that Fugaku was in possesion of the fan.


Since the fan can increase ones fire element jutsus by a tenfold by adding wind element to it = making the user capable of producing extreme fire element jutsus.

So it indeed takes years and years of practise to even think about using it.


And Tobi has had the Training neccesary to use this weapon.

Why impossible?
Edo-Madara is not in his real body, for the Edo-Tensei needs only a fixed portion of flesh that contains the personal identification material. And Edo-Madara is basically a perfect copy of Madara in his golden age, powered up by Kabuto and Orochimaru into a vessel (other's body). Madara is surprised Kabuto managed to collect part of his flesh. They found his body, planned ruined. The only chance to complete his plan is rush things up.
The soul must be in the afterlife, but Tobi IS Madara so there's a reason why he is alive somehow inside "this" Tobi.
Tobi/Madara wants to see how to stop Edo Tensei because he knows something. Rinnegan's linked vision. Has a way to stop Edo-Madara before it's too late. So he rushes things up, basically.

I was speaking about the correlation between The War Fan , Uchiha Madara and Tobi.

I just think Tobi has the Fan because it's his from the beginning.

That's a possibility it could have been hes originaly.

Also we do not know if Uchiha Madara was the first holder of the War Fan.

It could be , that only elite/superior Uchihas can use it.

No we don't.
We don't even know if they are the same color or not (if I'm not mistaken)
In the anime (ok that's not the manga, but as a guess) Tobi's Fan is violet-like, but I can't recall to have seen the one's in Madara's memories...
If the colors don't match, then could be a copy of it, or could have been switched color to suit the new Rinnegan-like vest.
Maybe color confrontation could help somehow, then.

Yeah, I used to think it was just to make him look like Madara, but after seeing him fight with it in latest chapters, it seems as if he has had prior experience using the fan. I like the passing down through generations idea, but I think Tobi took it from his dead body, or found it in the secret Uchiha place.
