First off this contains spoilers if you haven't seen the movie don't blame me.
Ok now as the movies ends we are teased that Peter won't be able to keep his promise to Gwen's father, however I'm here to talk about the credits. You may have missed this if you left as soon as the credits came up.
After the credits rolled after a while we get a scene with Dr. Conners(The Lizard) and a mystery guy. During this scene the mystery guy ask Conner if he told the boy(Peter) the truth about his parents? Conners obviously scared so he knows who this guy is tells me no and to leave the kid(Parker) alone. The mystery guy disappears.
Now there has been lots of speculation on who this and well I've boiled it done to 3 men(no praticular order).
1. Electro- this was brought up because the mystery guy appears and disappears in darkness as thunder and lightning can be heard in the background. As fans know(even if your not a fan you can tell by the name) Electro controls electricity after being strucked by lighting. It would be great to see Electro on the big screen actually all the names I'm gonna give you will be if acted by the right person. My take on this what does Electro have to do with anything? Yeah sure he is a big time villian but with everything that happened in the movie it dosnt make since.
2. Mysterio- now this right here I would love to see, I'm a huge fan of Mysterio he's awesome. However this was brought up because of the sudden disappearing and appearing of the mystery man and as we know Mystery is the master of all illusion. I would love to see Mysterio in a movie he is on my top 10 comic book villains list #6 to be exact however just like Electro I don't know his involvement in the storyline or with Conner will be so if it does turn out to be Mysterio(and I hope it does) it would be interesting to see how they input his character into the movie.
3. Norman Osborn- this actually makes the most sense Norman the president of Oscorp coming to see Conners secretly now that's already a great story right there, however as we know Norman is The Green Goblin and Marvel wants to stay as close to the comics as they say they do, well in the sequel(sorry Emma Stone fans) its gonna be na na na na hey hey good bye for her. Yes Gwen Stacy dies she is killed by the Green Goblin by being tossed off a bridge, and now I'm getting ahead of myself and I just spoiled a big part of the next movie lol oh well the comic book fans know this anyway. So yes it's probably Norman look at the details older man ok Norman old his voice soundy sickly it was pointed outmany and I repeat many of times in the film that Osborn was sick. Also the man was wearing a top hat big big big detail. Why you ask? Well in the early installments of the comics Norman was seen wearing a top hat.
