EMS = Perfect Susano'o

I was unsure if the base has recognized the fact that the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan grants its wielder the ability to use Perfect Susano’o. This thread is intended to verify that crucial point, which seems like it will be an important feature in Naruto’s battle with Sasuke.

It was once thought that the Rinnegan was needed in order to perform or use the Perfect Susano’o. This was most likely due to the fact that it was a relatively new concept introduced into the story. As such many people thought it was impossible for Hashirama to win against this and Kurama.

This is understandable considering how massive both Kurama and the Perfect Susano’o are compared to Hashirama. Back to the focal point of the thread, Madara implies that he had the Perfect Susano’o prior to his battle with Hashirama, and his confrontation with Oonoki.

Sasuke's Superiority

On to Sasuke, at this point in the story regarding all the Uchiha foreshadowing, it is undoubtedly that Sasuke will surpass Madara as so; Sasuke’s Perfect Susano’o will be far greater than Madara’s. At this point, I am confidence that since Sasuke is able to apply to his Lighting Release and Blaze Release to his other abilities, than maybe he will be able to encase his Perfect Susano’o with either one of these. He may possibly be able to do so with both. Only time we tell though.

People only assume that Perfect Susanoo requires Rinnegan because Madara had the Rinnegan at the time he activated his tech. Sasuke becoming stronger than Madara. Boy if that's true, Naruto better get one last crazy power up that's for sure. A Blaze Release Susanoo will be dangerous on the other hand.

I agree. Many people won't however. Kishi has a tendency of showing what Sasuke and Naruto are going to get as a power up in the near future. Itachi vs Sasuke we see Itachi use Ama and Susanoo. and then Sasuke acquires these abilities as well. When Naruto was acquiring control over Kurama we see some of what Kurama can do in a flashback, and then Naruto acquires BM. Now we see Madara use PS and Kurama even compared Sasuke to Madara. There is a trend here.

A perfect Susano'o covered in Amaterasu, I can dig it. I'd rather see that than the Rinnegan all over again.

Yeah I agree, the implications that Kishimoto uses should be obvious, but for some odd reason some people cannot seem to pick up on them.

If it's true why didn't Nagato summon Perfect Susanoo?

Yea that's what I assumed to MS Susano'o grants u the top half and EMS gives u the full body

The Rinnegan plays no part in the development of the Susano'o, it is strictly a Sharingan technique, which means all attributes of it are from the traits of the Sharingan and the Sharingan alone.

I agree, I don't see Sasuke getting rinnegan because of the revelation of PS, Madara stating that it was equal in power to a tailed beast just predicts this. Sasuke has too much pride in his sharingan to purposely seek out another eye.

And for people who say we have seen Sasuke has activated a V3 susano'o but not a perfect susano'o, progressing through the stages of the susano'o has always been linked to hatred, and when Sasuke sees what he doesn't like with the man who knows everything, his hatred will grow, allowing him to progress.

Where does it say that you need EMS?
