He can set the whole area on amaterasu the summons will be bound to touch it. Or he can manipulate it and make it chase the summons just like how he made it chase sasuke

Konan is not a key player in this fight. Summons are easily totsuka'd or amaterasu'd or even put in a genjutsu, or blinded like when he fought nagato. And as for gedo mazo, amaterasu blew through the toad mouth trap and a wall in seconds. As stated by kakashi, the mazo could not survive without a neck. So amaterasu the neck with the same power as in the hotel and it's over from there. Preta is taked down from anything non chakra related, even a simple shuriken being thrown or a sword through the heart or totsuka while trying to absorb susano'o.

He cannot spam techniques so freely. And you just gave Itachi knowledge which he does NOT possess. Soul Dragon still solos. He's fighting these things at the same time remember.

Sigh gedo mazo is large but it can still feel the pein of attacks proven by kakashi and guy
