kakashi's intelligence=itachi intelligence

These type of who is the smartest threads are nothing more than opinionated. Anyway both are very smart and to some people they are equal in intelligence. To others one is slightly smarter. Will however go with itachi because although kakashi has gotten more screen time, itachi has still shown more intelligence.

Also in the first databook when kakashi was 26, his intelligence in the DB was a 4.5/5, he later got a 5/5 in his late 20's.

Itachi at 17 got a 5/5 for intelligence

Actually my bad. Itachi's stats was released just before his fight with sasuke and that was at the age of 21. Still he got the max at a younger age than kakashi

Itachi figured out Celestial terra blasts weakness in a matter of secs.

And i dare say kakashi was just standing there observing tobi for a weakness, if it wasnt for his team stalling tobi, he wouldve been killed.

Naruto told Itachi about CTB that is why he managed to figure it out.

But kakashi is very damn smart obv top 5 smart manages to form a plan and break downs tobi"s s/t and figure out its dimension and land a serious hit on tobi. Thats a true genius. So Itachi gets a little plot, so what? He gave Naruto that crow to use against Sasuke. But since he knew that a war began he used the crow to release himself from Kabuto's control and help Naruto out.

Minato has a deadly combo which is speed/intelligence, and Itachi has genjutsu/intelligence. Minato hit Tobi in his first encounter and first attack. Itachi stopped CT/Edo in his first attempt.

Shika is young still, but doesn't posses the battle experience Minato/Itachi do. Shakaku as far as I've seen is usually observing the battle in some kind of HQ than actually battlefield like the others.

Definitely Itachi and Minato at best. Shikamaru comes 3rd, because he has done lots of plans that has successfully work, except his first mission as a chunin to bring Sasuke back.

then he noticed the explosive clone and save kurenai.

I think I made an obvious point there that those instances doesn't displays once intelligence.
