why kakashi won't go blind

Because Kakashi is not of Uchiha blood, using the Sharingan demands a great deal of chakra. He also cannot deactivate it, and so keeps it covered when not in battle to prevent the chakra drain and the following extended bed rest

I am under the impression that when a Sharingan is transplanted to another host it becomes eternal in Kakashi's case never being able to deactivate the Sharingan it would burn out the eye causing blindeness years ago.

He seems aware of the Mangyenko Sharingan's detoriating affects on the eye because he questioned Itachi about it long before it was revealed to Sasuke about the affects of MS. However the negative affects he has shown was to be hospitalized for 3 days and dieing cause of the chakra drain from using MS, not blindness or detoriating vision

He can go blind becuz sometime in Part 1 when naruto wanted to see his lips he was talking about his Sharingan and he was ike i keep it covered to conserve chakra and so i wont go blind in one eye

still it was almost nine years before itach went blind. I say kakashi has maybe ten to 15 more years before he goes blind if he does. I guess it will not matter when he is fifty. Maybe he can take tobi's eye and not go blind at all. Just optimistic because I love kakashii.

The reason Kakashi was in hospital, is because it requires a ton of chakra for Kakashi to use Kamui. The only exception is in the latest two chapters, where Kakashi doesn't seem to be effected by chakra (Kishi needs to explain how he can do that).

Chakra use has nothing to do with vision detoriation. It's pretty simple, the more you use MS, the quicker your vision detoriates. Kakashi doesn't spam MS, that's why he is not blind.
