Of course he could, in fact he'd have an unlimited amount of chakra to steal from. That's why he's more suitable for fighting Madara than Deidara.

Nagato and Itachi make a really good team. Deidara could play the role as the diversion or something while the other too try to seal him.

Thane already countered your argument but what do you think Nagato is going to do when the meteor is coming down? Stop it with Deva path. Plus, it ain't like Madara is going to be pulling down meteors every second. Why? Because barely any worth a damn hits the Earth's atmosphere.

im not gonna assume that he can do it because hes never shown use of them. he only used preta path and meteors but thats enough to take out almost anybody.

whats with you people thinking that nagatos invincible? nagato cant stop it with shinra tensei and even if he does(which wont happen) he cant stop the second one that comes down. he only needs to use it once. he doesnt need to spam it and i dont think he can spam it.

He has Deva path, he can redirect it. And since we're not basing this fight on plot, Madara won't use meteors because he won't be able to find any.

he brought down 2 in a row without any problems. im not saying he can spam it. im saying that once madara brings those meteors down then the fights done. nagato isnt redirecting the meteor with shinra tensei. are you mad?

Lol, you're going to pull out the "umad" card when there is nothing to indicate that I'm mad. He can make a ST strong enough to deflect it, believe me. He can also use BT to redirect it. Everything indicates that Nagato is the superior Deva path user since he has add more experience with it.

i didnt mean it like umad? i meant it like u sound crazy. no he cant make a shinra tensei strong enough to deflect the meteor. bansho tenin isnt doing anything to it unless he wants to pull the meteor closer to him. who said that madaras meteor is a deva path technique? its a combination tech of the ems and rinnegan.

My pessimism aside, that team is pretty darn good, but wouldn't Kisame be better suited than Deidara? If Madara has an unlimited amount of chakra, wouldn't Kisame in theory be able to steal an infinite amount as well?

Madara beats them little difficulty. They can't hurt perfect susanoo,he can make 5 wood clones for each member,he can use rinnegan techs as well,he has ems techs,edo madara wins low diff.

i dont see how deidara or itachi can counter the meteor or hold it up enough to get out of range. even if they stop the 1st one a 2nd meteor comes crashing down. either way those 3 are ****ed.

Can't Deidara C3 (or is it C4?) the meteor while Nagato also uses a CST to counter it? And while Madara's regenerating, Itachi speed blitzes + Totsuka's.

With that said, Team Nagato has a chance.
