I mentioned about this is a previous thread:

and after seeing on the porcelain goddess, it got me thinking. We could see a battle between Tobi and Naruto's shadow clones in the pocket dimension.

People said well you could send Naruto there to hit Tobi on two fronts, but Naruto won't be able to come back.

So why not a shadow clone?

If it's true what some people say that Kakashi won't be able to sustain Kamui's for long, then why not just send a shadow clone to the other dimension to ensure that Tobi doesn't phase out. Because if he did, he'll be he with attacks that he can't see (per se my Tobi's Blindness Theory):

Tobi NEEDS to access the pocket dimension for a better success rate and he may have to make a shadow clone in order to do that. But I guess if he can't even see in the pocket dimension during battle, it's pointless to waste chakra like that. He would have to make his shadow clone have his senses focus solely on the pocket dimension which up to now, the real self hasn't been able to do so. Which is why he hasn't been able to see Kamui'd attacks.

That's pretty much it. Kakashi is smart and if he doesn't apply this idea, he'll do something else that will permanently lock Tobi in the real world w/o using Kamui over and over again. He's very good in Chakra usage.

That's what I was thinking, but either Tobi is going to force Kakashi to use up an unknown amount of Kamui or gain the upper hand in the pocket dimension by going shadow clone. If it's a battle in the real world, Tobi lost. I don't think he alone can take out Naruto's team.

Would Tobi not be able to leave one of his 6 paths in the other dimension? Then with the linked vision he could see there too and avoid clone Naruto.

This is a nice idea :) I can totally see a little naruto army hopping across the rectangular prisms ready to strike Tobi in his own domain

He'd have to have time to set it up that way. We don't even know if Tobi's version will be similar to Nagato's or if the body in question will be destroyed leaving Tobi vulnerable. Tobi will be blind in the pocket dimension so he won't know either way so if Naruto beats his opp, the second Tobi phases, he'll get rocked by Naruto's clone.

Nice. I would like to see it like the Naruto-Sasuke shuriken combo against Zabuza in Part 1. While distracted from combat, someone from the 3 would throw a weapon at Tobi then Kakashi would Kamui it, and Tobi wouldn't mind it that much, but as it turns out, it was Naruto's clone disguised as the weapon that got in and would do that attack from the inside.

Hmmm... I just had a thought that, if Naruto's clone transformed into a kunai, it would be a lot easier, I'd imagine, for kakashi to kamui the clone into the other dimension.

Didn't even think about that. That is genius. Kamui ing a kunai is much easier than a human body. Now that is a great idea.

I'm glad that people have commented to put this back on the front page. I feel a little vindicated that some of the members at least gave this a plausible theory.

So far it's been proven right. Kakashi can't keep doing this for long so he might as well send shadow clones in the pocket dimension so they can fight Tobi on two fronts. Heck, all "shadow cloned" Naruto has to do now is just stay there and way for him to go back into his phased state and pummel him down.

It's not looking good for Tobi.
