Has anyone figured out how tobi gave Nagato the rinnegan?

I thought you could only awaken the Rinnegan if you have the Sharingan? I'm confused..

So i came to the conclusion that sometime after madara awakened rinnegan, he met nagato and gave him his. Because he wanted nagato to revive him later.

no to awaken the rinnegan you must have senju and uchiha dna. i think nagatos mom had senju and his dad uchiha dna. therefore when leaf jounins attacked their house he was angry and awakened the rinnegan.

It's actually quite simple tobi found nagato but before that madara already had given tobi his rinnegan so tobi went to nagato and gave him the rinnegan like this

but it's never been stated that you need both of uchiha and senju D.N.A to unlock it or am i missing something

Wtf??? Nagato never awaken the rinnegan. His rinnegan is with him the whole time ,we didn't even see his real eyes yet.

It's so obvious madara uchiha or tobi gave Nagato the rinnegan ,his Rinnegan is still activated even when he died.

Not when he was alive atleast. If he did, when he got revived, he should have came back blind.

Meaning someone had to transplant them....

The most simple answer is that either Madara or Tobi gave Nagato Madara's Rinnegans and used genjutsu on him to make him remember something else. Its possible that Tobi only said he gave Nagato the Rinnegan because he was pretending to be Madara and knew he was the one who gave them to Nagato.

It is possible that Tobi was there to help Madara cast the genjtsu or perhaps Madara did it by himself by transplanting other sharingan first and having the Rinnegan ready to give to Nagato before he got there.
