Spoilers - Analysis of Kakashi figuring out how to hit Tobi

Kakashi figured Tobi's jutsu out. When Kakashi kamui'd the kunai away and it cracked Tobi's mask (yes it was the kunai, Tobi "dematerialized" before Naruto hit him) Kakashi completely figured out the jutsu. Tobi's S/T uses the same dimension that Kakashi's kamui does. He puts his solid body into the kamui dimension while leaving an after-image of himself in the "normal" dimension.

So when Naruto went to rasengan Tobi in the face and Tobi "dematerialized" out and rasengan went through Tobi's face but somehow hit his back - after the rasengan disappeared - it was because Kakashi kamui'd the rasengan away and it hit Tobi in the Kamui-S/T dimension. There seemed to be a lot of confusion so I thought I'd clear it up for everyone.

Agree. I still think with some Oro and zestu magic that obito's sharingan may be used by tobi. Anyways nice thread, im sure some people needed this .

If many remember, Minato did the similar tactic. Who is a student of Minato? Kakashi. Does that mean anything, possibly, but who cares, right?

Yeah, exactly what i was thinking.

it does seem there is a link between kakashi's jutsu and tobi's, but does this mean anything or do all S/T Jutsu's like that share the same dimension.

If you couldn't see the forums, they were clogged with "wtf is happening" threads, so I thought I'd explain it. Sorry a brief explanation done on an iPhone in traffic wasn't up to your standards.
