...but...what? Of course it is...that's just...U_U
Atheism is always trying to prove something; it would seem that you do not understand it.
Theism is not trying to prove the belief in a creator since that is based on faith. However, it takes a lot more faith to be an atheist than it does to be a theist.
I was hoping that I wouldn't have to pull this card because I get flamed every time for lack of understanding: atheism is a religion. It has all the makings of a religion, it even goes so far as to prove other religions to be false. The deity of atheism? None other than the person believing in it...which is called humanism.
Don't even bother with a response to that; I've heard it a thousand times over. I know everything you, or anyone else, has to say about it...so I bring it back to what is truth: truth is something one believes to be true.![]()
"Theism is not trying to prove the belief in a creator since that is based on faith. "
That is exactly why it gets ridiculed... You can believe it, but it will not be taken seriously.
You get flamed for calling atheism a religion because it is misinformation. You are ill-informed on atheism.
"truth is something one believes to be true"
Sure. But without evidence, it will not be taken seriously.
Again. Atheism is the rejection of belief in deities. Nothing more, nothing less.

I know more about atheism than 99% of atheists do...I actually studied it, okay.
