Did Uchiha deserve to be wiped out? was it their fault?

so im just wondering if it was Uchiha's fault they were wiped out or not? i mean theres good arguements on both sides.



Uchiha pros

-The uchiha were'nt given much trust

- They were pushed a side even though they were the only surviving founding clan

- Uchiha were being made a shadow of there former self

-They were being treated poorly because of Tobi

Uchiha cons

-They were trying to kill ppl and force themselves to be respected

-They were making negotiations hard

-a civil war would cause a big weakness later on in the Fire village


so were their actions justified or did they deserve it/ leave no choice and they got killed cuz of it?

Slaying some major big heads of Uchiha would be okay. But I really don't like that Itachi killed his whole clan.

long story short uchiha got what was comming to them when the leaf acted first

and the same can be said about sasuke

leaf village wiped out the uchiha and turned sasuke into a raging mess of revenge now sasuke wants to kill them all

you say its going to far but here is the thing about life in this world

dont start sh!t because it not up to you how the other guy reacts i was at a party pnce and a guy bumbed into my friend and my friends like whatch where your going

my friend pulled a knife and slashed him in the face and buddy ran away and my friend went to jail a few days ater for it

should he have gone that far prolly not but it is who he is and that is why if your gonna start even the smallest ish be sure your ready for anything if not crawl back in your hole and keep your mouth shut because again its not up to you how the other guy reacts

Well if they had gone through with their coup then the same thing might have happened anyway. I think thats why the 3rd wanted to talk it over first, since he knew konoha could outmuscle them anyway.

TBH it was kind of their fault. The 2nd was elected Hokage by his brother, so he didn't really choose the role. But during his time he established the Academy, ANBU, as well as the Konoha Military Police Force — a judicial system for the village which he had the Uchiha govern, as a sign of trust. Tobirama even had Uchiha's on team Tobirama so he wasn't prejudice.

The Uchiha themselves made the clan secluded, moving everyone to the outer perimeters of the village. There they become rather estranged and segregated from the rest of the village. Its only nature that Tobirama had ANBU investigate them, since they were acting strange and he had the village to protect.

He was right though, they were trying a coup. So i think if they were attempting a coup, after the village didn't do anything wrong to them then they deserve what they got. From what I have seen the 3rd tried fairly hard to re-establish the bond between the village and the Uchiha. They just kept up their Uchiha are getting a rough time mentality (when they weren't) and got destroyed for it.

I don't think they deserved to be wiped out. The Leaf turned them into what they became. But it was necessary.

And for those of you who think only killing the main ones is all that was necessary, the problem would be that everyone else would grow to resent the Leaf more, and it would happen all over again. Even if they left the women and children alive, they would still raise a new generation of hate for the Leaf, and it would happen. So it had to be all of them.

Your not that bright are you? I mean the manga states that they were one of the most violent clans before making the leaf. Oh and the whole were going to destroy the village thing. Uchiha brought it upon themselves. They knew what they were doing and they still were going to go through with it.
