Yeah...ok. So, you know, we HAVEN'T seen Zetsu bleed. Ever. Without blood, there's no ritual. Also, Zetsu fights with clones. If he touches Hidan, he can place spores on him, which would then suck away his chakra. Hidan, would slice through clones while the original is watching from the distance.
