I said he would be effected not destroyed. :sy: Everyone is suspectable to genjutsu. No one is immune.

Of course people are immune to Genjutsu what on earth are you saying?

Someone casting a Genjutsu on you and it taking effect are too different things, a Shadow clone got caught in Tsukuyomi.

Shadow clones can talk they can feel pain, but it was still immune to the effects of Tsukuyomi.

@Bold: This really makes me question why I am even bothering to debate with you...

Anyway, he can't be along with the Pains since he is immobilised due to the stakes coming out of his back.

As for feeling their Pain:

Exhaustion from a Chibaku tensei after destroying a village....

That's just down to chakra exhaustion. He's having to pump his chakra through Deva in order to use Chibaku Tensei. Using that much chakra (after fodderizing a village) is obviously going to be taxing on his body. That's like saying when Deva Path was having rocks smashed on his head, Nagato could feel it aswell :/

OMg That s nagato using a lot of chakra You fool its proven that he transfers chakra through the roods since dead bodys doesnt have chakra at all and deva path was not even hurt there what does this have to do with nagato feeling their pain this is bullshit pal

I also think that Nagato was not affected by Jiraiya, it may very well be a trick to give Jiraiya a sense of victory and deceive him, and that same thing happened in Next page.`

Because if Nagato got caught then he should have appeared along with his rest of body's (All 6 of them).

Srsl thank you. You understand unlike that dude LOL :p

I don't see how else it would work. If Nagato can see what they see, hear what they hear why wouldn't he.

Because you can not take control of someones chakra network from over a mile away????

Unless you're Nagato.

Exactly, because the pains ARE Nagato.

The Pains don't have any chakra of their own, and since a genjutsu disturbs chakra, if you disturb the Pain's chakra, you are going to cause a disturbance in Nagato's.

If Pain was caught by Jiraiyas Genjutsu, why not by Itachis? Visual or not, the Paths didn't show to be very resistant to Genjutsu.

You just contradicted yourself. Shadow clones felt the pain because they just felt the effects. No is immune to genjutsu. When I said effected I meant having a genjutsu casted upon you. You still have to break out of it or see through it as they might say.

Pain can be caught by Tsukuyomi, but Itachi will be unable to tortue dead bodies, so the jutsu will be utterly pointless :/

But will Nagato not feel the effects of it? The Peins are only as strong as the one controlling them. Nagato breaking out of it is a different story tho.

Simply because sound genjutsu doesn't work like visual Sharingan genjutsu. And you compare the strongest sound genjutsu in this manga with a sharingan genjutsu? Itachi himself has shown no resistance against a weak sound genjutsu casted by a chunin level ninja

Itachi has a bunch of other Genjutsu, for example those who are based on a pure paralysis. Once Deva was caught in it, he is an easy target for Itachi. To be honest I don't see how Deva on his own stands any chances against Itachi. Shinra Tensei and Bansho Tenin will by far not be enough for beating him. If Deva would use Chibaku Tensei always in the very beginning of the fight, even he would be unbeatable. Chibaku Tensei is actually his last option and there are great chances to beat him before and prevent him from using Chibaku Tensei. Especially since he has to be near Nagato.

It doesn't indeed but you can't claim things that weren't proven anywhere. And not only Tayuya is a great Genjutsu user, her power was increased by Kabutos Dragon Sagemode.

If Deva Path is caught in genjutsu, Nagato will not be caught. We saw this during Gama Rinshō. If Nagato himself had been caught aswell, his body would've shown up inside the illusion realm, considering the Genjutsu paralyzes everyone who is effected by it. If Nagato had been paralyzed, he'd be inside the cube aswell.

Gama is a paralysis Genjutsu, Tsukuyomi allows the caster to mentally damage the victim that can not happen to a path.

The paralytic effects of Tsukuyomi will only be for the duration of the Jutsu.

Hmm this plays no matter since Itachi is not fighting him but a Path. And the Paths can be caught in a Genjuts. Here I'm not talking about Tsukuyomi but about the one who paralyzed Orochimaru for example.

Yeah that doesn't make sense. The only logical explanation for that is Kishi wanted to keep Nagato a mystery.

The Peins were paralyzed by sound genjutsu controlled by Nagato. How can dead bodies on their own be paralyzed by sound genjutsu if the one controlling them is not effected?
