Tobi is an old Danzo/Orochimaru experiment gone wrong using Madara and combined with multiple zetsu's. Tobi is also not one person, he is multiple Tobi/zetsu clones...

His motive? Why does he know everything about Madara and the past. I dont think this is him. There isnt any proof 1 way or the other. Hell all we know he could just simply be a clone. Or maybe Izuna doing an Oro body switching tech using Obito's body. We just have to wait and see

The history about Madara is not a secret though, he'll Itatchi knew about it. And it talks about Madara in the hidden room of the Uchiha. So nothing Tobi says is that secretive about Madara. But in the reasoning your using that the only reason you think Izuna is Tobi because he knows everything about Madara, well in tht reasoning then Itatchi could be Tobi because he knows everything about Madara too. Remember Tobi was also Itatchis partner and mentor.

What is ur reasoning behind this? Kishimotto will have hints in the series behind who Tobi is. Based on his stuff he will put something in there, he's just not gonna not give us a chance of guessing who he is. But all your saying is your personal assumptiOn. I have given facts, what can you say to me to make me believe otherwise?

Well my theory goes along with how old Tobi seems. Not to mention his regen nature. Tobi cant be Itachi because Itachi was a child in the same timeline as Obito.. Im not officially saying its Izuna, I have many theories. Im just saying one. Im merely saying that Obito couldnt know intimate things about Madara, the Uchiha massacre, etc. To say he is Obito (in mind and soul) is silly.

Plus his great knowledge of the SO6P and his son's.

look at Danzo, he was fused with Hashirama, look at madara, fused with Hashirama. Danzo and oro were trying to create the perfect shinobi, the new SO6P. Tobi is the result of that. many hints have been given. The scroll found in oro's lab. The time line fits with his appearences. When he was hit by minato we see his arm melt away in white goo. Anything else?

I like your theory. But who was the lab rat that was Tobi. He has an agenda. There must be an original personality behind him.

This is actually a pretty good theory I respect that. But Madara was only fused with Hashirama by means of the ressurection jutsu that's all. It's not the same when you use a living organism than a dead one. So your saying that there's not only one Tobi? And the reason his arm was melted off was beaus of minatos sraking jutsu.but even though it sounds ok I guess. It's still an assumption. Your taking examples from others and combining it with Tobi. How do you know Zetsu knew Danzo back in the day or how do you know Danzo was still in contact long enough to try to make Tobi. We don't k ow for a fact and it's not Iron Clad. My Kagami theory still has many more facts than your assumption theory.

Well apparently Danzo was in contact with Oro for a while. At least up to Shisui's death. Zetsu is just as much a mystery.

I wouldnt be surprised if he was an Uzumaki. Hell the guy has a loooong lifespan. As well as, a lot of chakra.

So I am in the mood to have a, who really is Tobi debate? I pretty much dont want to have just long comments about who eerubody really thinks he is, but what I want to do is write a few comments about who inthink it is and then if any ody can, i want them to disprove my theories or if they have a guess on who sltheybthink he is, I will try to disprove their theory. There are to many theories out there about certain characters and people just guve half baked explanations about their theory. Any theory is welcomed, but please have logical reasoning to back it up please. So here it goes.

I believe Tobi is actually Kagami Uchiha.
Reason 1. So we all basically have come to the conclusion that Tobi is an Uchiha, he has never denied not being one. If you look in to Tobis eyes in the Manga and in the Anime, and if you read Narutopedia you never once see Tobi with another Sharingan other than the three tomoe sharingan, (except for when he implants the Rinnegan in his left eye) which is the highest level Sharingan before you get the Mangekyo Sharingan. So now that we know that we can then check off any Uchiha who has had the MS, so that checks off Izuna Uchiha and Madara Uchiha.

2. Now this reason isn't iron clad, but if you lOok at the fight with Tobi and Konan when he has half his mask blown off, look at his eyebrows and his hair. TOBIS EYEBROW are slanted down from left to right, and has a very thin short line slanting up at 90 degrees. Then if you watch the episode where Danzo is about to die by Sasuke. Danzo has a flashback, this flashback shows when Danzo was young with his comrades , which included Tobirama Senju( the second Hokage), the third Hokage, Kagami Uchiha, and a few other leaf ninja. You see Kagami's face right there and his hair is the same color, his eyebrows are very distinct and not many people have the same style eyebrows, hair color and, hair cut. Also take a look at the way his facial expressions look when you see Kagami. You can sometimes read a person by looking into their eyes and Tobi has the Same look.

3. I have a lot more reasons why i think its Kagami, but The final reasoning I am gonna give, because it would take too long, is so there are only two users of the Space-time Jutsu( other than Tobi) an those users are Minato Namikaze, and Tobirama Senju. So This since Minato fought Tobi it's likely that he didn't learn it from him, so that I ky leads Tobirama Senju. Senju could have very easily taught this technique to one of his students. So Tobirama had to of taught the Space Time Jutsu to one of his teammates and if you look at his squad there is only one person to fit the description of Tobi, who is not already known to be dead or someone else and that is Kagami. Kagami was also a great student of Tobirama Senju, and since we have seen it in the past that Kishimotto like to use students surpassing their teachers such as Minato and Jiraiya, Jiraiya and Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi, Lee and guy sensei, Asuma and shikamura, Etc. it only makes sense that Tobi is going to be a student of a powerful teacher and what better than a Kage being a teacher. And look at the Name. Tobirama Senju, if you take the first part of his name you get Tobi.

Lastly. Tobirama Senju was the creator of the resurrection jutsu that kabuto is using right now. So it just all seems to fit like a puzzle very well. Tobirama Senju's fellow student Kagami took upon his Senseis name, is working with a person (Kabuto) who is using his masters Forbidden Jutsu, and also sense more than likely Tobi had to of learned his Space- Time Jutsu from someone and the only conclusion would be from Tobirama Senju sense he was very skilled in this Jutsu.

Let me know if anybody has any other Theories about who they believe is Tobi or if anybody can give me reason for why my reasoning behind me thinking Kagami is flawed. I just kind of want to make this a game in a way to see who can back up their theories behind who they think is Tobi better. So give me some feedback please. Lol

Finally someone who thinks he is KAGAMI UCHIHA. There is more evidence of him being tobi, like when kyuubi attacked the village, Kagami was absent, he was alive at the time but absent, why was that? ( he was busy taming kyuubi and planning to destroy konoha. Also we know that the elders of konoha were the only ones informed about the barriers and guards put up for when naruto was being born. Tobi managed to get past all that easily, if he IS kagami, he must have been informed and therefore must know how to easily get past the guards and the barriers.

This theory is a little more complex but can be possible. I think that when tobi tamed kyuubi and attacked konoha, he was kagami uchiha. As wel all know kagami would have been very old indeed, and dying from old age, he made his way to the hidden grass eventaully, where he found zetsu. They found obito crushed by a boulder, and kagami like orochimaru asked if he could use his body to, and that he would bring great change to the world, i think that obito agreed, and from there on out, kagami gained obitos memories and powers. Since here on out tobi has obitos eye, when kakashi uses kamui, tobi can easily extinguish it. Like the amaterasu how one eye casts the amterasu and the other can extinguish it, one eye can cast the kamui while the other extinguishes it. So both theories i reckon can fit.
