Itachi can put anyone in a Genjutsu and seal them with the sword

as you can see he was cutting the heads off his eight brach tech normally but once he pierced him he sealed him, Also here

as stated it can seals when it pierces.


So with all these facts itachi will never be able to seal a target with that sword unless they are Huge,Immobile, or he catches them off gaurd. Essentially making it ineffective in battle against a speedster or 1 vs 1(With exceptional ninja).

You have a point however itachi + toska it s the perfect combo men I mean itachi can genjutsu someone and toska can seal it and for what you said toska isn t slow it caught orochimaru in the middle of a speach and oro isn t slow pal so before you say plot no Jutsu to nagato he was caught because he was imobile and even if we had a different case if the ninja isn t fast enough they are dead so no

Anyone execpt Nagato,Madara,Hashirama,Tobi(No One),Minato,Naruto,Sasuke,Raikages & Jiraiya. Kakashi & Orochimaru may/may not fall for his genjutsu and everyone one else could easily fall to itachi.

Orochimaru actually escaped but he got burned by amaterasu, What happend with nagato was just pure plot and you know it LoL A rinnegan user getting cought off gaurd by a huge chakra blade. . .

minato raikage jiraya kakashi and oro are you kidding me kakashi and oro have already been defeated with just genjutsu without toska let alone with toska lol and as for minato he isn't imune to genjutsu he hasn;t shown any feats on breaking it so he is not imune to itachi s finger genjutsu as for raikage manga already proved that they are week to genjtusu as for the rest i agree with nagato as an exeption he might be able to breake itachi s genjtusu but it is debatble so i m going to leave it

I don't think it's useless if it was oro wouldn't have been searching for it a big part of his life but i do agree that it's a bit overrated

well, you say that sword is useless against exceptional ninjas...

do you really think nagato is a ninja of regular measures...
and moreover catching a rinnegan user off guard is a big deal on itself...
the sword is perfectly suited for itachi, i say...
