Shizune is not useless!!!

Shizune is the leader of the medical team because she is a jounin. She is a good healer, but Sakura is better than her. He neutralized Sasori's poison and healed Kankuro

Wll I know that Shizune is older and she trained at least 10 years the medical ninjutsu, but:

-To use medical ninjutsu you need precise chakra controll
-To use the chakra enchanted stenght u need perfect chakra controll
- Sakura can use both, but Shizune can only heal.

This is why Sakura is better than Shizune. Even Jiraiya stated that Sakura is a 2nd Tsunade. Not Shizune, Sakura.

2. Kabuto
3. Sakura
4. Shizune
5. Hashirama ( he could only heal himself)

Shizune already has really good Chakra Control

also I do see Sakura surpassing Shizune Later in the Story but right now no.

She's actually very sneaky in terms of combat as shown when she used mechanics for her weapons and actually spit out poisonous senbon in an unpredictable manner. Medical ninja are extremely valuable, so that doesn't hurt either.

It does seem like these medical ninjas go for sneaky sneak attacks. For example, Tsunade tried to feign an agreement with Orochimaru just to ambush him. Similarly, Sakura did the same thing to Sasuke. Kabuto has been very sneaky the whole time (using Tsunade's fear of blood to his advantage). So all in all medical ninjas are sneaky cowards who can't stand their ground in a fair fight.

OT: I am not really sure whether Sakura is better or Schizune. From what was said in early Shippuden, it seemed like one day Sakura will surpass Tsunade but at this point in the game, it seems like only Senjus, Uzumakis and Uchihas matter. As for Sakura and Schizune, Sakura has better guts then Shizune but Schizune has more experience on her side. I don't know whether Sakura has surpassed Schizune or not.
