The Naruto you envision is still in the fight to achieve peace while this one is in an effort to maintain it, and no matter what you say, you have no idea whether or not Naruto is even going to survive the war and live long enough to see peace preserved, nor do you know what he's going to be like when faced with adversity that he's never faced before since Naruto is still and ignorant child. What Kishi has left for you is a destiny and a message that destiny always comes true. You look souly at one destiney when there are dozens of other. So let me ask you a question, what happense when two desiny's of opposing sides cross paths and only one shall prosper?

Why becaues his daddy is Hokage Popularity in the polls doesn't mean he's becoming a chuunin. Remember what I said, this has already been planned out long before the last two arc even began

as for chunin jman the second has shown his skill he is more skillful than almost every single shinobi present of his age group the jinks were always in a class apart specially the jinks of ichibi. so judging from there i think from konoha he does merit promotion and for suna both of the brother's does so but ryoko doesnt because she doesnt know where the limit is in impossibility. if she had been a team leader the entire team would have perished while with koichi and jman the second either could have won.

And Jinchuuriki only class in their own league when they use their powers, if you look back on the fight, Koichi used only his own power, power so greatly obtained through his training with Lee. If you look at the way Koichi and Jiraiya were fighting, you'd notice what Koji had said about both of their fighting styles. Their fighting was all direct as opposed to indirect. If you judge on a skill level between those two, Koichi is essentially stronger or equal. For Jiraiya's chakra cloak it lasts 90 seconds and then he's tapped out (with the exception of that will he has) and Koichi's 100% base strength matches that essentially.

Theres' the debate as to whether or no Jiraiya can get off the necessary blows off of Koichi in 90 seconds if both started at their peek of power, but the same can be said for Koichi getting off that essentially fatal blow as well or, lasting for more than 90 seconds. In a power scale Koichi has a little bit more (excluding Bijuu) but in terms of skill, they're fairly equal.

Also about the merit of the current shinobi, it's been my understanding that the exams, passing them up until the final point has all been the testiment of how a shinobi is chuunin quality. If you looked at Ryoko's efforts throughout the exams you could see how it's mixed base

Preliminaries-to see how well captured memebers of a team proved worth and their teammate had sync enough with them to locate them. Ryoko ended up leaving a trail with her summons.

First round-to successfully make it through hostile territory. Ryoko led their teams down a path which severely hindered them for the rest of that exam and another member for the entire rest of the Chuunin exam.

Second Round-A mission, to see how well a unit can protect their mission objective, an assignment more for unit success over individual success (as were the other exams), Ryoko successfully defended their territory up until the point she was ambushed by Kiri members and they proved too much for her.

Final Round-Individual skills, Ryoko demonstrated combat and stratigy of a top class fighter with a lack of overwhelming power but more than admirable skill level.

Ryoko's was a mixed card that I was somewhat unsure of whether or not to pass but i ended up making my decision in the end.

Who tf really expected jiraiya to win? I voted for him but only because he's boss, koichi> jiraiya > koji> hime >> the world. ^_^

I'm about to vote for chuunin and I bet I get em all right.
