Who else here has been told this nonsense? It's kind of annoying when you've got a good thread going on and someone tells you to use the search bar or whatever- how about you use the search button? I can understand when someone tells you that your thread is in the wrong forum, but this is ridiculous. You know who you are. :scorps:

Use the search bar.

It's because the thread you made has all ready been made that's all.

I do it because nobody wants to read redundant material. Additionally, so many topics are so overdone. We should all be trying to attempt something with an inkling of originality.

It is only logical to respond to a thread;'"Use the search bar." When said thread has already been discussed and your point brings nothing new to the table...

Actually it can become quite tiring, not to mention annoying when threads about the same subject keep popping up, even though it has been made hundreds of times before and the latest thread is only a few days old before they make a new one.
Plus in most cases the search button can provide enough information if someone has a particular question.
The search bar is there for a reason you know -_-

Maybe because that thread will lead to the same conclusion as it's similar previous ones?

I understand what you're getting at, but at the same time you gotta realize that it's a rule for a reason. No one wants to read the same shit over and over again. Now with that said if you did use the search bar, and someone still tells you to use it, just copy and paste the result and tell them to shove it up their ass.

It's no nonsense, it's common sense. What's the point in making a thread which already has been made? It's way more annoying to see people making the same threads over and over again because they refuse to use the search button (or just their common sense), somehow thinking that they are the first person to make a thread about something that already has been chewed over hundreds of times, than the people who say that you should use the search button.

Mainly the person who made the thread could find that comment possibly annoying, however a large part of the people who read the thread are annoyed by just the existence of the thread and the refusal of the maker to use the search button.

My threads are unique and have never been used before.

You could possibly only know that if you used the search button, but based on your behavior in this entire thread you refuse to do that, so how could you possibly know that? If someone actually said that you should have used the search button, it's implied that the thread has possible at least once, or more, made before. So saying that they're unique is a complete baseless statement. Unless of course you would have used the search button to confirm it, which would make your entire statement void as then using the search button is indeed quite useful.

Because I have a right to voice my opinion. Problem? Btw what is "jocking?"

Its a joking with a c. Problem?
This is not an opinion to be voiced. Its against the rules to repost the same thread plus you used a section for questions and suggestions to rant in.
Also against the rules.
