Which Akatsuki member would be the best Kage

Excluding Pein (he was basically a kage in the rain village) and Tobi (to OP) who would be the best Kage? In a pure "defend the village" sense of the word, Sasori would probably be #1 (100 puppets) but overall it would probably be Itachi (Smartest, genjutsu, susano'o). Someone like Hidan or Kakuzu couldn't protect the village, and both are strictly close range fighters. I think Itachi-Sasori-Deidara-Kisame-Kakuzu-Hidan-Konan-Zetsu is the order.

Opinions? (please try and back it up -_-)

Konan should rank higher, she was smart (planned out her vs Tobi) so I could see her having paper bombs ready to use.

I'd go for Sasori first and then Itachi.
Sasori, well he's the one that won over an entire nation, he has the puppets, he has the poisons and everything else so he could basically stand and protect the village if there are more intruders.

Afterwards it would be Itachi because of his intellect and his whole personality and thinking. Plus, he's an Uchiha, he has weaponry to deal with people attacking the village.

Then Deidara, although his range is not a close one, well, sometimes that can good. I mean, he was hard to defeat. And those little creatures can do their job pretty well.

Then I go for Konan, from what we've seen, she can do pretty well. Paper bombs and all those stuff. She's not that weak, she could handle.

Hidan would be also interesting, basically he's kinda immortal if you don't discover his secret. So how can you kill something/someone that's immortal?

Kakuzu, well, I don't know what to say... He has those hearts but without them he's kinda nothing...

Zetsu, well, we don't know much about him so I can't say anything for the moment.

Gah, as much as i don't wanna say it.. truth is. Probably itachi

Mostly because he is the only on (besides konan and pain) Who actually showed any sense of care or concern with the well-being of his village.

I Choose itachi over konan because

1.) Itachi is stronger, and that is important in a kage.

2.) Itachi's love of his village was more direct, were-as konan seemed to love the rain village more as a result of yahiko and nagato loving it. ( she loved her friends more in a sense)

I wanted to say konan because. Here who paper spies being able to watch over the entire village is a really good asset for a kage.

It can't be the other's because....

kisame- Isn't very kage like, he is more of a soloist in a sense (doesn't usually play well with other's) And didn't he kill a mizukage? (i can't remember if the orignal owner of samehada was a kage

Sasori- he has the compassion, but he killed a kage from his own village. That just kinda rules outs as a good potential kage

Hidan - He would make everyone convert to his religion... or kill them.

diedera - too immature by personality, to engulfed in art, and selfish

This, its like taking Sasukes eyes away - sure strong jounin level but not as good, same with Naruto

Itachi would be the best bet for me. I'd feel safer in a village knowing I'm protected by a dude who can slaughter a clan of elite ninjas.
