Naruto judgement was messed up due to the nine tails chakra, and he used rasengan, which is not a technique you use when you're just wanting to scratch the headband...
Sasuke won that fight, he was able to walk away from a ko'ed Naruto, therefore he could of killed him if he wanted to. So Sasuke won, Naruto lost.

You three seem to be missing the point. Naruto ONLY wanted to scratch Sasuke's headband while Sasuke wanted to kill Naruto. Now tell me who accomplished what they wanted to do and who didn't?

Naruto wanted to bring him back to the village, the headband was secondary. Let me give you an example. In football(or soccer if you are american), if my team was playing but I wanted to score as a personal objective, and I did score but my team lost 3 - 1, that still counts as a loss, even if I did score as me scoring is secondary to the win.

You guys are missing something I said earlier, while Sasugay were getting carried by Oro's team, Naruto's chakra got leached by the fat guy, he clashed with Kimmaru also. So Sasuke was at 100% at that fight not Naruto.

Though, I ain't denying it Sasuke won that battle. But if Naruto would have been at 100% like Sasuke, he would have definetely won.

However It does not matter because the only person with a successful tsukuyomi was itachi and he is dead. Sasuke has his lame incomplete tsukuyomi which does not even control time and space like what happens when you fall into itachi's tsukuyomi.

These are both true but in the Sasuke retrieval arc they were either equal or Sasuke was slightly better.

Sasuke fanboys r so stupid, they were equals when tgey clash, but if they were to keep on fighting naruto would have won, when they clash, sasuke was victorious just because he punch naruto, while naruto just scratch him, by the way tsukoyomi or w.e is something sassuke don't have.. neither does madaraa. Yet a direct rasengan would kill him. So like the OP said, he wanted to scratch his headband to show sasuke how strong he is.

He obviously was aiming to just scratch his headband. If he really wanted to injure or kill Sasuke he would have hit Sasuke in the chest with his rasengan like Sasuke did to Naruto with his chidori.
