my opinion so please dont be offended, i do like jiraiya too but just wondering after the discussion i had with my mates.

I have no idea why but many people think that jiraiya is pretty much the same strength as itachi uchiha. i just wondering because there is no way i believe that jiraiya is to be even compared to itachi. i mean he is the strongest of the legendary sannin and is named as the toad sage but his power is not compared to itachis.

Well again Toad sage is just a title so is Sannin, but also his Sage mode is incomplete, I am with you on this Itachi would defeat Jiraiya simply because of his MS abilities, example is when Jman used the toads stomach and Itachi broke out it. The battle would be great but if Itachi spammed his MS abilities then he would win hands down, Jiraiya could use the toad song to help him in the battle, It's not the matter of skill there both equal in skill in strength but it comes down to the Uchiha Bloodline's abilities there is only so much Jiraiya could do against Itachi eye contact boom caught (even though he was training Naruto to break out of it; which means he might be able to do it himself) he could out run AMA but it could catch him, and Itachi's Susanoo would pretty much make a victory for Itachi.
