So far it has 2 seasons, set in the Sengoku era in the history of Feudal Japan.

The characters are awesome, action along with animation are EPIC WIN themselves. It's a short series, as each season has only 13 episodes. Really fun to watch, i recommend it!

How can you NOT like Pirates? Seriously? They are the coolest of all. Even cooler than gangsters and assassins.

Pirates do whatever the **** they want, you never expect anything from them, thats why they always surprise you. They are the people with the most freedom of all. There is nothing more awesome than pirates.
Shame on you... "don't like pirate shows". You ain't never seen a real pirate show.

As for Fairy Tail, it's a fanservice. The manga itself is fanservice. Extremely predictable, no real plot twists. I said 3 weeks ago that the tag team battle would be between the Dragon Slayers, and what do you know, the author does exactly what the fans expect. Plot isn't very good or strong, nice fights and cool scenes, and hot chicks (that all look pretty much alike).

the truth has been told, but I will try Fairy Tail one day anyway. I saw some AMV and I like the fights. To me it seems that some characters are inspired from One Piece. That guy Gildarts is pure Shanks, appearance and probably personality too, I don't know his story. I also heard that Fairy Tail's creator was in Oda staff so it makes sense
