Jiraiya taught naruto rasengan,naruto taught konohamaru the plot rasengan

Naruto learned Rasengan in like 2 weeks. We don't know how long it took Konahamaru to learn it. He also had Naruto teaching him the clone trick while Naruto had to figure it out himself. Also he doesn't have summoning, while Naruto could summon Gammabunta. Naruto's a perfect sage too. He's not surpassing Naruto, but he might have a wider arsenal of useless stuff

I feel like konohamaru is better than naruto, first he learnt every technique taught to him by naruto easy, and his impressive showing, during his battle against pain, taking down one of pain and been alive to celebrate it, something so much masters cant boast of. plus he's a direct descendant of hiruzen 'props', if he learns frog techs im sure his sage mode would slap naruto's. PS kyubi not involved

Konohamaru will get insanely strong an i have a feeling his summoning will be the monkey God Enma or another powerful monkey. But I don't think he will ever surpass naruto. I mean come on, Naruto has SM, KM, now he had some kind of power given by the other jinchuriki, his speed is insane, his chakra levels are near bijuu level. And then there's rasenshuriken.
Konohamaru has potential but he has to climb some very long stairs.

Naruto defeated the Shukaku before he even learned Rasengan, which is far greater than some path.

Naruto taught himself shadow clones as well, but I think your talking about the wind style training, so that's fair enough. Only Naruto can do that type of training though.

But Jiraiya clearly told Naruto that he would have to figure Rasengan out on his own, he just told him what to do and left. Naruto figured out the shadow clone trick on his own, and then taught it to Konahamaru.

Sure he could learn all those things as well, but Naruto is a perfect sage. You really think Konahamaru could be a perfect sage? Even Jiraiya wasn't a perfect sage.

Naruto will always be better at his style of fighting than Konahamaru.

i have to disagree with some of you, that so called elite sensei, is a prick, konohamaru, thought by kakashi, and then jiraya, would totally own, plus naruto used the forbidden scroll
to learn his multi shadow clone, so without that fateful moment, he would still be a dunce, cause that scroll alone single handedly changed the power scale of naruto, so in reality konohamaru is way out of naruto's league, the guy is a genius

Wasn't Chouji crying because his father was killed in that fight? That's something entirely else than just fighting.

They were completely different paths. Konohamaru wouldn't have fared well against Deva any better than Chouji did.

Konohamaru will definetly get to a high level and eventually surpass Naruto in his own way, but like someone else said, he will not surpass Naruto in "Naruto's" style of of fighting.
And as for the pain thing, it was more to the fact that it was caught off guard and also to illustrate Konohamaru's growth. Because at a similar age Naruto took on neji and won, regardless of the extra chakra boost from Kurama (since he drew only enough to not be influenced)
Also Naruto took on the Shukaku and Gaara. And last but not least I believe part 1 kabuto being hit with a rasengan is comparable to that path being hit by Konoharamu's rasengan. Actually more dangerous since the path was just getting info and that's it

cause chouji is a chunin, and konohamru a guy without sufficient training was able to do what a chunin could not. infarct wasn't that particular path, wasting a lot of konoha chunin?
