Now before you drop ignorant comments, and by 'you', i mean fan-boys, just read first, and i beg you to see logic. pain vs itachi, one of the most talked about topic on this site, although i prefer itachi, I honestly think its a 50 50 chance battle on a neutrl ground. but one thing alone changes the whole structure of the battle, and that's 'Intel'. fighting pain with absolutely no intel on him, is like punching a rock with rubber gloves, this guy has off the chain summons, including that demon dog, he has the ability to make a mini moon, go toe to toe with the six tails, revive himself @ will, absorb all ninjitsu's and so much more, but lets say the tides turn and you do have intel on him, then for a high class ninja, the battle becomes a walk in the park.
itachi on the other hand 'wow', lemme just narrate how his battles go.

itach: that's a technique that 'blah blah', and now you know, lemme explain
its weaknesses, 'blah blah' now you know, whats your next move?

simply put, Intel on itachi or not, it doesn't matter, even chiyo explained that the only action to take against an uchiah when its just the two of you alone is to run, so nb users do the maths. PS: "no trolling", its the same expression as "no homo".
