minato's ability

Starting off yes he's a cool character but i don't care. after the last chapter
we can all agree that naruto,kakashi, and guy are nowhere near minato's ability's.
I say this because look at how much work the three of them put in against tobi and
they only crack his mask. now minato on the other hand used two techniques
ftg level 2 and rasengan and managed to strike a serious blow. what perspective is this giving us answer here.

Is there a change in naruto's power coming.

You have to remember that tobi has gotten a long stronger since he fought minato, Minato is an amazing ninja no doubt! He just suited to the fight with tobi back then because of his speed.... As much as i like minato, I don't think he could take on naruto bm.

What you don't realise is, Naruto is all about matchups. Only another S/T user (i.e. Minato) would be able to effectively counter Tobi. That doesn't mean Minato is leagues ahead of those who cannot counter Tobi. Hell, I don't even think Edo Madara could counter Tobi, you think Minato is leagues ahead of him too? Current Naruto beats Minato with Mid diff at most.

I agree with u, why can't Naruto, Guy, and Kakashi touch Tobi, why because they need s/t techs to handle him good enough, without s/t, no way they could defeat Tobi with just a team fight. The only way to counter Tobi is Minato's FTG techs though, because this jutsu is fast enough to hit Tobi by a rasengan or something like that.

The discussion is not if he could take on naruto bm. The issue is taking on tobi, and from what we've seen thus far, Tobi has not gotten any stronger then when he fought Minato as far as his abilities goes!

Bm Naruto will hit him when he perfects it, But yes i agree, To fight someone like tobi that uses S/T Jutsu, you must also have S/T Jutsu to make it a fair fight Or be able to move just as fast, which i predict naruto will do once he masters Bm

Minato is def smarter than naruto thats and s/t are the big advantages minato had compared to naruto and no tobi is still the same tobi plus a rinnegan

I Kinda miss read the thread... But yeah, doesn't mean that naruto ability's aren't as good as the fourths ability's.... Just that minato suited this fight because of FTG!

Only Minato can effectively defeat Tobi because of his s/T....but that doesn't make him the strongest ninja...

He's not so different than u think, he is the same level on sharingan, but a higher level with rinnegan.

Tobi's rinnegan has a gedo mazo
His sharingan was the same level before

Minato can still beat him with a tactic, Minato managed to defeat many sharingan users by a counter tactic like when he fought against Tobi.
The way how to defeat Tobi is s/t though, I believe Naruto can defeat him if Naruto is smarter enough like his dad, but no way he is smarter than Minato.
That's why Minato want Naruto to learn ftg tech, to defeat Tobi.

I do believe he meant Minato is better then all of them when it comes to dealing with Tobi. As for Tobi he hasnt used any Rinnegan abilities which is means that Thus Far ( as I originally stated) he has not displayed anything that would indicate hes stronger then when he fought Minato, As far As Gedo Mazo goes, we have no clue what that is currently capable of so until then you would compare it to the strongest thing tobi has had in his possession which would be Kurama, and As we were shown, Minato was able to handle him with both. Thats why I said "Thus Far"

If they were at full strength Tobi wouldn't stand a chance with just his space time jutsu. Also Obito Tobi is Kakashi's worst nightmare since he seems able to effortlessly counter Kamui.

With Minato one has to question if he would have even made it past the 6 Bijuu.
