do you think it's possible that yagura only got as far as Bijuu chakra mode and wasn't friends with his bijuu and when tobi tried genjutsuing him his bijuu didn't care and let it happen to him
and maybe yagura had the same bijuu chakra mode as Killer Bee
getting a chakra cloak

Nice thread, it's possible. However, I personally think that Tobi was powerful enough to control the Bijuu aswell, he controlled the Kyuubi with ease, and the Kyuubi > Sanbi, so I'm sure I'm right in this case.

Yagura was the first know Jinchuriki who managed to tame his Bijuu. And yes he had a cloak just like Bee. It was shows in the fight Tobi vs Naruto U_U

The way that Danzo structured his statement it seemed that he was including Bee in the "maybe." So since he put Yagura and Bee in the same category, then it is assumed that Yagura was the same as Bee.

it can go either way....but how can you control a Biju thats inside someone?

and if thats true why didnt Tobi just control Kurama from inside Naruto's Moms body.....and even Naruto later?

Kushina and Kurama were not friends...so doesn't the same priceable apply?

Sasuke was able to suppress Kurama's chakra inside of Naruto. I think if someone was strong enough that they could control a Bijuu inside a host.

Anyways, Tobi's genjutsu was that strong. It was compared to Shisui's which is the most powerful genjutsu to date

Yagura wasnt a perfect host like Bee. To non jinchurikis, controlling your bijuu means being able to use its chakra without losing control. When Naruto got as far s km, Tsunade said "thats how it is when he's controlling the kyubi's chakra" or something to that effect. When Jiraiya was teaching Naruto to control the fox, he taught him to draw as much as the nine tails chakra as he can not how to make a friendship bracelet for kurama.
And there's also the little incident of the tailed beasts having a conference with the Naruto. The tailed beasts were talking about how humans only used them as weapons. The 8 tails spoke out for Bee. You'd expect the Sanbi or w.e his name is to do the same for Yagura. But nothing of that sort happened.

I kinda have to disagree. Tobi's genjutsu at that time was so powerful, I believed it could have controlled that tailed beast since it was only the 3 tails

Like I said earlier, it was compared to Shisui's tech by Mei and Ao. We know how OP that is. I might be terribly off though.
