If there out in the forest Guy could escape the frog Genjutsu, he too fast to be tracked, he could dodge all of Jiraya attacks.

Guy might have a chance but Jiraiya is more versatile and is more intelligent. What's the big fuss with Guy. He's a one trick phony=Taijutsu/gates. This won't be enough to defeat a Sannin.
The match vs Kisame was great but is victory was because of the plot.

-Jiraiya's list of moves/abilities: Sage mode (strength, speed and power), ma and pa (diverses ninjutsus and frog song), summoning jutsus (army of giant frogs), rasangan, knowledgeable with seals. He can breathe fire, create swamps to immobilize enemies, and grow and sharpen his hair for both offensive and defensive purposes.

-Guy now: Gates (1 to 8, gives extreme speed, strength and power), high level taijutsu, morning peacock and afternoon tiger. Can summoning a turtle aka fodder.

To conclude, Jiraiya (kage level) would defeat Guy (Jonnin) mid diff. He is too versatile and knowledgeable for Guy.

Sorry but Naruto is not a one trick phony :flaw:. Naruto has sage mode, kyubi mode and Bijuu mode now which increase a lot his speed, strength and durability. Also, shadow clones and rasangan include many variations. He has like more then 10 different rasangans that all have different effects on the opponent. Guy is a one trick phony, even if is taijutsu in gates is like ninjutsu, it still remains TAIJUTSU. Jiraiya would beat Guy because he's an overall better char. by far.

Jiraiya: Great in taijutsu, powerful ninjutsus and genjutsu via Ma and Pa. Sage mode, great defense and a genius/sannin.

Guy: Phenominal taijutsu + gates= one trick phony. Not very smart.

If anyone tells me how Jiraiya does not get blitzed by 7 gates Gai if Jiraiya himself got blitzed by Pain then Jiraiya wins.

If Jiraiya can avoid a blitz, then he wins with sound genjutsu and by outlasting the gates.
