Karin directly helped him twice, Tobi directly helped him once, and indirectly helped him throughout the whole battle. He made Danzo not go all out on Sasuke.

Not even, I'm nobody's fanboy. Sasori and Nagato are my favorite characters. Danzo I never actually liked, and I hate debating for him in versus threads. But I have to respect what he did.

Shisui was a threat for sure. Danzo would not trust him, because trust does not guarantee anything. Shisui's genjutsu, if used by the uchiha, could cause terrible problems for the Leaf. You remember when you saw Shisui after losing his eye? He didn't want revenge. He clearly understood what Danzo was trying to do. The only reason Danzo didn't do that kind of thing to Itachi was because he knew Itachi would never give up a chance to keep Sasuke alive.

How was Danzo supposed to understand what would happen to Sasuke after the massacre? And if you remember, he would have rather killed ALL of the Uchiha, it was only Itachi who kept Sasuke alive. If all die, then Sasuke is not a problem. So Itachi created Sasuke as he is today, not Danzo.

And also, how was Danzo supposed to know that Naruto would be the only one able to defeat Pein? He didn't. Similar to how all of the other smart ninja tried to keep Bee and Naruto out of the war, he was doing the same, because the ONLY reason Pein attacked Konoha was to catch Naruto. Danzo was certainly protecting Naruto.

And as I said, he never cooperated with the enemy unless it was in the interest of the Leaf. You clearly however cannot look beneath the layer he created and don't realize that he has done more for the Leaf than almost anyone else.

The fact that you reverted to child talk makes it clear that you have no real analytical abilities, and cannot understand that what I am saying is true.

Actually, he didn't.
1. Danzo was holding back tremendously.
2. It was Sasuke + Karin and essentially Tobi vs Danzo
3. Danzo killed Sasuke twice, but Karin and pnj saved him.
4. Danzo killed himself.
Go and reread the fight. Or don't, you're just going to cling to what you think.
