Personally, i don't think the statue should have been taken down, for three reasons. Reason 1) if you take down the statue, you may as well take down the library he built. And every other thing JoePa contributed to. Reason 2) It's an awfull lesson to teach young adults: something goes wrong, and they sweep it under the rug. Reason 3) The Freeh report is not a legal document like so many people seem to think it is. It's the opinion of a prosecutor, not fact (or, it hasnt been proven as fact).
I don't feel incredibly strongely towards that stance and could probably be changed. Opinions on the matter?
P.S. I'm not a Penn State fan, im a college football fan. But i've disliked Penn State football for most of my life.
