yes while fighting with pain naruto kept his shadow clones there and they were is sage mode and in sage mode naruto becomes some rind of sensor ninja don't u think...

And after naruto helped to decode joraya sama sos coded message naruto and pain had there epic battle.. And it is kind of un cool for nagato to leave joraya sama to die.. He differently rescued him and keep him safe i mean prisoner...
